Spidey World
Hello. My name is Spidey, not very imaginative I know but I'm the only plant in the house with a name so I'm happy.
I live on Nick's windowsill and spend most of my time looking out of the window at the garden plants and the street beyond.
Sounds a little dull perhaps but a few weeks ago the street constantly had paparazzi trying to photograph one of the neighbors.
I learn a lot talking to the garden plants. The most interesting ones are Rosemary and Wisteria.
Wisteria can be a bit smug sometime "look at long tendrils and wonderful fragrant flowers, truly I am most beautiful of plants ". She is also full of "wisdom of ancestors", clever stuff that never seems to quite mean what you think.
Rosemary is fairly down to earth, doesn't have a lot of time for "wisdom of ancestors" she says, but then usually continues with a sentence that begins "my grandmother used to say". She also points out that no one ever invites Wisteria to join then for dinner. I don't know what that means but Nick frequently cuts bits off her and takes them inside.
I got this page because Nick has written a book that mentions me a lot. Something to do with that fact that all businesses are organic and that if you care for them in the way you do a plant then there is much to learn.
Anyway I thought that I should get a chance to talk too so he sorted out this page for me, and a twitter account too. Have a look on the left to find out what I have been up to.
